Itinvolved downloading some xbox 360 wireless controller configs and placing them in the directory, and that allowed triggers to detect on my wired xbox one controller. I'm guessing it would work on gog version too. Vargas78: I managed to fix the controller issue, (on the steam version) thanks to a useful youtube video.
Ac1and 2 for pc did not support the Xbox controller natively. A quick Google search will guide you to the required files to use the controller. As far as I remember you only need to copy/paste a .dll file. Yep. And the same file works for ac1, 2,Thisis a real issue. I once installed a bit of software to emulate a Xbox controller with my phone via Wi-Fi. It didn't work out that well, so I uninstalled it, forgetting to set the control options in AC3 back to Mouse and KB. Long story short, I had to reinstall the software, just to get around AC3's stupid refusal to revert to the mouse and pHazlX.
